Biography
Damien Bourgeois was born on 10 Mar 1834 in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the son of Amand Bourgeois and Domithilde Goguen.[1][2]
In the 1861 census Damien (age 27 years) lived with his parents and siblings in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
Damien married Catherine McNeil.
In 1871, Damien (age 37) was living in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick with Catherine (age 19). [4]
In 1881, Damien (age 46) was living in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick with Catherine (age 29), and the following children (Alfred, Guillaume, Arthur, Mary, Matilda). [5]
In 1891, Damien (age 52) was living in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick with his wife Marie and the following children (Alfred, William, Arture, Aidaies, Marise, Zeldan, and Saraies). [6]
Damien died on 29 Sep. 1896 in New Brunswick. He was sixty two years old. Cause of death was apoplexy. His occupation was school teacher. [7]
