Biography
James Bourne was born in Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England.
James was born about 1842 in English Bicknor.
In 1861 James was one of 4 children living with parents James and Eliza in English Bicknor. His father was a Haulier. [1]
On 3rd October 1864 James married Susan Howell in Parkend. James was a Collier, his father James was a Haulier. Susan's father George was a Postman. The couple both lived at Lane End. [2] The couple had a daughter, Rosa in 1866 and a son, James in 1866 (Susan must have been expecting when her husband died) .
He passed away just 2 years later, in 1866 and was buried on 9th January at English Bicknor. He was named 'James Bourne Junior', his father passed away a month later. They had been living at Lane End. [3]
