Biography

Jean Bouteillier (29) is noted on the passenger list of the Betty in 1752.[1] Along with him on the Betty is George Bouteillier (23) whom I assume would be a brother. I am unsure if these two Bouteilliers are relations to the Jean George Bouteillier who seems to be the progenitor of most of the Bouteilliers of Lunenburg and beyond.

Jean Bouteillier and his wife Francoise have the following children in the parish register;[2]

  • Elizabeth - 1753 abt
  • Peter Jacques - 1755 abt
  • Daniel Nicholas - 1757 abt
  • Margaret - 1762 abt
  • Susanna Catherine - 1765 abt
  • George - 1767 abt
