Biography

Harriet Bowdre was born on 20 January 1829 in Richland, Stewart, Georgia, United States, daughter of Hayes Bowdre and Harriet W. Young.

Harriet (20) and Ferdinand Phinizy (30) were married on 22 February 1849 in Richmond, Georgia.^[1] Ferdinand was born on 20 January 1819 in Oglethorpe, Georgia. He was the son of Jacob Phinizy and Matilda (Stewart) Phinizy.

Harriet died on 7 February 1863 in Athens, Clarke, Georgia, aged 34. She was buried in Oconee Hill Cemetery, Athens, Clarke County, Georgia.^{[2] [3]}
