Biography

EMILY JANE BIOUS PARENTS WERE:

Daniel Bious or Bias was born in 1805 in Franklin, Kentucky to . When he was 19 years old he married 12 year old Adaline Bowen on August 6, 1824 in Franklin, Kentucky. Adaline was born in Franklin, Ky abt 1812. Her mothers name was Mary Ann Bowen. They left Franklin Kentucky and with 2 infants they traveled to and settled in Jefferson Co, Ind. In 1829. After a few years they moved on to Decatur Co, Ind. This is were they stayed until their deaths. Daniel died on Febuary 9, 1887 at the age of 85. They are both buried at Cave Springs Cemetery in Jennings Co, Ind. They had the following children:

Ralph b. 1838 in Decatur Co, Indiana. Died after 1850 8. Amanda b.1840 in Decatur Co, Indiana.

9. Lauraet b. 1845 in Decatur Co, Indiana. d. before 1850 10. Delilah b. March 1850 in Decatur Co, Indiana. (twin) 11. James b. March 1850 in Decatur Co, Indiana. (twin) d. Aug 1850 (5 Months old.) 12. Richard b. 1852 in Sand Creek Twp, Jennings Co, Indiana. 13. Phoebe b. April 25, 1856 in Sand Creek, Jennings, Indiana. She wed Isaac Hooten. She died Oct 16, 1927 in Columbus, Indiana. 14. Emily Jane b. October 22, 1859 in Sand Creek Twp, Jennings Co, Indiana. She wed James Christopher Bliton.
