Biography

William was born in 1826. He passed away in 1890.

William J Bowen married Nancy Dismukes on 31 May 1849 in Pike, Georgia, United States.[1][2]

In 1850 he was enumerated in Pike, Georgia, United States.[3] The household included William J Boin 24, and Nancy Bowen 24.

In 1860 he was enumerated in Pike, Georgia, United States.[4] The household included William J Bowen 33, Nancy Bowen 33, Jesse J Bowen 8, Mary F Bowen 5, and Sarah C Bowen 2.

In 1870 he was enumerated in Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States.[5] The household included Wiley Bowen 45, Nancy Bowen 45, James Bowen 17, Francis Bowen 14, Sarah Bowen 9, Marth Bowen 8, Charley Bowen 6, and Thomas Bowen 3.

In 1880 he was enumerated in Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States.[6] The household included W. J. Bowens 54, wife Nancy Bowens 54, daughter Martha Bowens 16, son John Bowens 14, and son Thomas Bowens 12.

William died on 28 June 1890 and was buried in 1890 in Eagle Creek, Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States.[7]
