Biography

Henry was born about 1762. He was the son of Conrad Bower. He passed away before 1781.

Henry is named in the 1767 petition as being under 14 years of age. He is not named in the 1781 Distrubtion of his father's estate.

The 1767 Petition of Michael Brecht and Catharine his wife, admx of Conrad Bauer deceased, setting forth "That the said Conrad Bauer died Intestate seized and possessed of a considerable real and personal estate and leaving issue, seven children, six of whom to wit: Jacob, George, Henry, Barbara, Susanna and Eve, are each under the age of fourteen years and praying the court to take care of the persons and estates of the said Minor Children" was read and the Court appointed: Henry Christ Esquire, William Reeser, and Peter Fedler all of the Town of reading, Guardians of the persons and Estates of the six Minor children afore named.
