Biography
Robert was born about 1370, the son of Sir William Bowes and Maud, the daughter and co-heir of Sir Jordan de Dalden. He married Jane, daughter and co-heir of Sir Roger or Robert Conyers of Sockburne. Sir Robert Bowes was killed at the Battle of Bauge Bridge in France.
