Biography
Unknown Bowne was born about 1590, Matlock Parish, Derbyshire, England. She is the daughter of Anthony Bowne and Alice Unknown. She and Anthony Woolley had two children (Adam and Elizabeth) who were mentioned in the 1619 will of their grandfather (Anthony Bowne).
Note: Since her brother Thomas Bowne named a daughter Dorothy, I am wondering if his sister's name was Dorothy. If so, perhaps she was first married to a Mr. Taylor, and was a young widow when Dorothy Taylor was married to an Anthony Woolley in 1615 at Matlock, Derbyshire. That would still give her enough time to have two children by the time of Anthony Bowne's will (dated 01 December 1619).
