George Lawrence Boyko was born on November 15, 1940, in Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada, the son of Frederick Boyko and Helen Kamlinska . He married on February 6, 1965, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. They had two children during their marriage. He died on July 29, 2006, in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, at the age of 65, and was buried in Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada.
