George Frederick Boyle, 6th Earl of Glasgow was born on 9 October 1825, son of George Boyle 4th Earl of Glasgow and Julia Sinclair.
He married Hon. Montague (Abercromby) Boyle (1835-1931), daughter of George Ralph Abercromby, 3rd Baron Abercromby of Aboukir and Tullibody and Louisa Penuel Forbes, on 29 April 1856. He died on 23 April 1890 at age 64, without male issue.
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Boyle, of Kelburn, Stewartoun, Finnick, Largs and Dalry [S., 1699] on 11 March 1869.
He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Glasgow [S., 1703] on 11 March 1869.
He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Ross of Hawkhead, co. Renfrew [U.K., 1815] on 11 March 1869.
He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Kelburn [S., 1703] on 11 March 1869.
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Boyle, of Stewartoun, Cumbraes, Fenwick, Largs and Dalry [S., 1703] on 11 March 1869.
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Renfrewshire.
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) for Fife.
He held the office of Lord Clerk Register of Scotland.2 On his death, his UK barony became extinct.
