Biography
Mary was born on 23 February 1860 in Rumworth, Bolton, Lancashire, England.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
When Mary was 20 she married John Mather on 31 October 1880 in Westhoughton, St Bartholomew, Lancashire, England. The couple had 9 children: Peter Mather, Elizabeth Mather, Isaac Mather, John Mather, Thomas Mather, Isaac Mather, William Mather, Ellen Mather and Harold Mather.[7][8]
In the 1881 census Mary (age 21) was living in Westhoughton, Lancashire, England.[9]
In the 1891 census Mary (age 31) was living in Hindley, Lancashire, England.[10]
In the 1901 census Mary (age 41) was living in Westhoughton, Lancashire, England.[11]
