Joseph was born 16 May 1873 in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. His parents were Joseph Brahm and Mary Anna Mueller. His Father was a Farmer.
In 1880 he was living in Menomonee, Waukesha, Wisconsin with his widowed mother and three siblings. He was not attending school at this time.[1]
Twenty years later in 1900 Joseph was still living in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin whare he was working as a farmer. Was living with his two sisters and 53 year old Mother Mary.[2]1900 Census
In 1905, Joseph Brahm age 32 was living in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, Wisconsin. Was living with wife daughter and one servent Harry Claas age 19.[4]
On the day of the 1910 enumeration, he was still working as a farmer on land that he was renting. Living in the home was his wife of seven years Theresa, there three surviving children Mary age 5, Clara age 3 and Leona age One Month. There was a servent John Dunburg age 21 who was working as a Farm Laborer.[5]
On 12 Sept 1918, Joseph John Brahm age 45, Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, Wisconsin.[6]
The 1920 Census, Shows Joseph and Theresa owning a farm that had a mortgage whare they lived with there five daughters Mary age 15, Clara age 13, Leona age 9, Gertrude age 6 and Celia age 3 years and six months old.[7]1920 Census
By the time of the 1930 Census, Joseph and Theresa was living on a farm located on County Highway West that was owned and valued at $14,000 dollars. Was living there with there four daughters Leona age 20, Gertrude age 16, Celia age 14 and Florence age 9.[8]1930 Census
In 1940 Joseph Owned a farm that was valued at $2,000 dollars whare he lived with his wife Theresa and there three daughters Gertrude age 26, Celia age 24 and Florence age 19 and all three still single.[9]1940 Census
Joseph James Brahm died 12 February 1944 in Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, Wisconsin and was buried in Saint Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery located in the same town.[10]
