Thomas Brasfield, son of Charles, was christened in January 1645 in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England.[1] He married Abigail Biron/Byron on 12 Jun 1679 in nearby Prestbury.[2] They were parents of the following, all born in Macclesfield:

George, chr. 17 Jun 1688, died in Caroline County, Virginia, the progenitor of the Brasfield and Brassfield families in the United States
Abigail, chr. 3 Aug 1690, bur. 9 Dec 1690
Thomas, chr. 17 Nov 1691, bur. 15 Apr 1694
Rachel, chr. Sep 1693
Silence, chr. 12 May 1695, bur. 18 Jul 1695
Abigail died and was buried 26 Sep 1696.[3] She was just 37 years old. Thomas died in 1720.[4]
