Aquilla Brasher was born on July 28, 1740, in Baltimore, Maryland, to |Sarah Constance, age 39, and [[Brasher-37|Thomas Levi Brasher], age 38.
He married Hannah Irene Cox in 1790 in South Carolina. In the census for that year, they were living in Greenville and there were eight people in the household. [1] Ten years later, only he and Hannah were living on the farm in Greenville. [2]
He died on November 20, 1808, in either Livingston, Kentucky, or Shelby, Alabama, at the age of 68.
