The Radio “King” of Labrador. Stan Brazill was the Marconi station wireless operator at Battle Harbour between 1912 and 1949. He was known as the “King of Labrador” Possibly due to his roles as a Justice of the Peace, Customs and Relief Officer and local Postmaster. He also had a radio program known as “Brazill’s Broadcast” which aired throughout most of the 1930’s and 1940’s.
