William was born March 5, 1863 in Collin County, Texas, United States. He was a son of Edward Rawleigh Brewer and Frances Ann Lock.

William married Bettie Bransom on October 19, 1884 in Johnson County, Texas, United States. They had the following children:

Research Notes

The death certificate lists different parents than what I can find in the 1870 and 1880 census. Information was given by William's youngest daughter and it is possible she got the names wrong. The 1880 census was in the same county where William married Bettie and both 1870 and 1880 census corresponds with the parents named on Find A Grave which could also be wrong.
