- "Daniel and Margaret Bricker, according to the 1850 U.S. census wereliving in Hamilton Twp., Franklin County, PA., no children. Later theymoved to Metal Twp., Richmond Furnace, PA. Daniel and Margaret Brickerhad a large family whose descendants promarily through their son, John,formed the core of the Bricker families living in Path Valley today.Daniel Bricker and his family worked as a labored, associted withFranklin Furnaces, Edenville and later at Richmond Furnace. According tothe census records Daniel was born in Pennsylvania and I believe hisparents were George and Elizabeth (Hill) Bricker who were married inChambersburg in 1811.
