Biography
Martha was born around 1797 to John Briles and his first wife Ann Beckerdite. She was her husband's second wife, marrying at age 37. When he died in 1849, it seems she never remarried. Documentation for her is scarce, which is why there are no more children listed, or a birth/death date.
Note: There are two Mrs. Martha "Patsey" Davises in this family. Martha "Patsey" Briles married Jonathan Davis, and Martha "Patsey" Merrill married Jonathan's brother, George.
