Biography
William Edward Britt was born on 27 Apr 1815 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky, son of Thomas Britt (>1770 - 1862) and Sally (UNKNOWN) Britt (~1780 - 1865).
William married Clementine Delepretta Hopwood (born in Somerset on 9 Mar 1814; died in Foley, Lincoln, Missouri, United States on 6 Jul 1890), daughter of Christopher A. Hopwood and Sarah Holtzclaw, on 14 Nov 1837 in Paynesville, Pike County, Missouri.
