Biography

Catherine Brockholes was the daughter of John Brockholes.

She married Charles Howard, 10th Duke of Norfolk, son of Henry Charles Howard and Mary Aylward, on 8 November 1739.

On 3rd March 1783 'Catherine Duchess of Norfolk, wife of the most Noble Charles Duke of Norfolk Hereditary Earl Marshal of England' made her Will.^[1]

She made bequests to her son Charles Earl of Surrey, her sister Mary, brother-in-law Michael Jones and their children Charles, Michael, Edward, James Joseph, Mary and Constantia. A codicil, dated 12th February 1784, was added and the Will was proved on 3rd May 1785.

She died on 21 November 1784.^[2]
