The Catherine Brooke here married George Wahab and lived in India all her life. Wahab was a corruption of Wauchope which we readopted some time ago. If you look on the net for Wauchope and General George Wahab 1754-1808 you will see he married Catherine daughter of Henry Brooke HEICs.
