Biography

Caroline was born in England in 1810 in Biddenden, Kent, England to William Brooks and Catherine Sharp. She married Gabriel Allen in Maidstone, Kent in 1832. She passed away in 1899 in Michigan.

• Father's Name: Caroline's 1899 Michigan death record gives her father's name as Richard.The name on the 1811 record of her christening gives his name as William. This name also appears on the record of his marriage and the birth/christening records of all of Caroline's siblings.
