Biography

George was born in 1830. He passed away in 1912.

Was a solider in the civil war on the Union side. Specifically, in 1862, he enlisted in the 151st PVI, Company A, first brigade, third division. He was wounded at Gettysburg on July 1. On March 18, 1864, Reenlisted in the 4th PVC, Company H. He was wounded again on September 19th. In 1865, he was transferred to become a stretcher bearer in the 54th PVI, Company E. He was captured in April 1865, paroled and sent to Annapolis, MD.
