Elizabeth was born in 1841 and christened at St. Nicholas, South Kelsey on 19 sep 1841, the daughter of William Boston and Ann Broughton.[1] In 1851, she perhaps was living in the Caistor Union workhouse.[2] In 1861, Elizabeth was a dairymaid at East Butterwick.[3]
In 1863, she married George Blanchard.[4][5] In 1871, she was living with George in Ashby with children Emiley, Mary, David and George.[6]
She emigrated to New Plymouth on the Chile in 1875 with her husband, George, and children, Emma, Mary Ann, David, George Edward, John Charles and Kate.[7]
Elizabeth passed away in 1876.[8] She is buried at Te Henui Cemetery, New Plymouth.[9]
