He was the son of Sir Delves Louis Broughton, 10th Bt. and Mary Evelyn Cotton.[1] He was born on the 16th of April 1898,[1] citing Birth Registration, Kensington, London, England.[2] He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.[1] He married Maud Alexandra Dickinson, daughter of Henry Arthur Dickinson, on the 27th of February 1943.[1] At Staines, Middlesex, England.[3] He died on the 27th of March 1967 at the age of 68, without issue, citing Death, Fulham, London, England.[4]
