Andrew Browder is a part of US Black heritage.

Andrew Browder was born before 27 September 1779. That is the date Andrew was named in the will of Isham Browder. Isham willed Andrew to his wife, Talitha Browder. The will was first written in 1779 but Isham did not die until 1835 and that is when the will was probated. [1]

Slave Owners

Research Note

Andrew has been given the LNAB of Browder as that name is the first slave owner that is known at this time. Isham Browder, as mentioned above, named Andrew in his will and supposedly Andrew was left to Isham's wife, Talitha Browder. was left to Isham's wife, Talitha Browder. Talitha actually had control of Isham's entire estate until her death in 1828. It is not yet known what happened between 1785 and 1828 - more research is needed.
