Obituary
November 18, 1937 - May 29, 2011
Clifton Dale Brower was born in Bakersfield on November 18, 1937, to Blanche and Nace Brower.
He served our country in the United States Air Force.
Clif worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 42 years and was enjoying his retirement with his wife, Mary Louise Brower, who brought so much love into his life.
The joy of his life was to spend time with his family. He created memories that will be treasured forever in the hearts of his children and grandchildren. They will all remember different adventures, stories, camping, fishing, playing in the creek and catching lizards.
Clif was truly a brilliant artist. He enjoyed woodworking, and he built many wonderful model ships which he designed and constructed himself. His carvings, chests, and other beautiful creations are testimony to just some of his talents and are treasured by his family.
Clif and Mary were a great team, and together they were always planning their next adventure or project. Whether it was just something around the house or a vacation, Clif always knew how to turn the detours and mishaps in life into an adventure that made a great story.
Clif loved his dogs, and he shared his love for animals with his daughters. Duchess, his beloved Golden Retriever, was always by his side, and now his daughters and his dogs will protect Mary for him. Somehow, no matter how bad things were, when he put his strong arms around his girls and held them close to his chest, they felt loved and safe. Those hugs will truly be missed until we can all be reunited.
A man of few words made a great impact on so many lives. He never loved us less for the mistakes we made.
Clifton Dale was preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Louise Brower, and their cherished daughter, Toni Deanne Jameson. The loss of his first wife and his precious daughter were especially difficult for Clif. His surviving daughters truly want Mary to know how much they appreciate all the love and joy she brought into their father's life. He was blessed beyond what words can say to find love again with Mary. Clif will be truly missed and forever in the hearts of his wife, Mary Louise Brower; his daughters, Kelli Brower, Vicki Brooks and husband, Tom, Je`nee Thomas, Kathy Poe and husband, Troy; as well as his grandchildren, Kevin Brower, Billie Morrison, Erin Jameson, Michael Jameson, Megan Brooks, Jillian Brooks, Brad and Jennifer Barron, Mary and Maxwell Holland, Chrissy and William Squires, Nathan Doubleday, Maty Poe and Mitch Poe; and great-granddaughter, Kayli Barron.
