He mustered out 5 Jun 1865. ^[2][3] The Regiment was engaged in several Battles, including: Resaca, Kenneswa Mountain, Lovejoy's Station, Franklin, Nashville and Wyse Fork.^[4]

He passed away 15 Jan 1910 in Pasadena, Los Angeles, California, United States and is buried in Mountain View Cemetery and Mausoleum in Altadena, California.^[5][1][6]
