However, an Abraham Brown was baptised on 17 Sep 1780 at Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, baseborn son of Catherine[1], Down Ampney, Gloucestershire, being only some 4-5 miles from Cricklade, Wiltshire.
Abraham Brown of Cricklade St Sampson married Esther Poulton of Cricklade St Sampson on 23 Sep 1804 at Cricklade St Sampson, Wiltshire.[2]

Warrant dated June 15, 1805. - Held for Assizes.
