Biography

James Brown was born about 1871 in Overtown, Lanarkshire, son of James Brown and Jane (Robertson) Brown. [1]

He married Elizabeth Gray on 24 June 1892 at 1 Wilsons' Rows, Douglas Park, Bellshill, Lanarkshire. He was a coal miner living at 8 Wilsons' Rows, Douglas, Bellshill, Lanarkshire. [1] They had 4 children.
