Sergeant David Brown served with Lincoln County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
David Brown was born at Eastham, Massachusetts, 3 Dec 1744, the son of Jesse Brown and Elizabeth Walker; d at Milbridge, Maine; m (1) at Falmouth, Maine, 15 Dec 1768, Sally Jordan; m (2) c1781, Hannah Alden, b at Cape Elizabeth, Maine, 1 Dec 1752, the daughter of David Alden and Elizabeth Thorndike; m (3) c1798, Abigail Alden, sister of Hannah, b at Cape Elizabeth, 25 Dec 1777. David lived in Cape Elizabeth, before settling on #5, then called Narraguagus. He served in the Revolutionary War as sergeant in Capt. joseph Sevey's Co., Col. Benjamin Foster's Regiment, later as lieutenant in Capt. John Hall's Co.[1][2][3]
