Biography
Francina (Brown) Rodes was a Virginia colonist.
Francina Brown, a daughter of Bernard Brown, Sr., and Elizabeth Dabney his wife, was born in Albemarle County, Va., May 24, 1775.
In 1793, she married Captain John ( Jack) Rodes, a son of John Rodes and Sarah Harris, his wife.[1] They made their home at Midway Plantation, Albemarle, VA, the family property. They had ten children: four sons and six daughters.:[2]

Francina died the third day of May, 1846, at the age of 71 years. She was buried in Midway Farm Cemetery, Millington, Albemarle County, Va. [3]
