William was baptised in Arnesby, Leicestershire, England on 23rd of October, 1808 [1]. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Brown.
In the 1851 census William (age 42), Shopman In Wine Vaults, was the married head of household on Friar Lane, St Peter, Nottinghamshire, England.[2][3].
