Biography
Following her mother's marriage to William Baker, Jr., Ella used her step-father's last name, and was known as Ella Baker. The 1891 census shows that Ella's father was born in Ontario, whereas William Baker was born in England.
She married R.C. (Robert Charles) Scott on April 25, 1889, at William Baker's home in Solina, Durham, Ontario, Canada.
They had at least one son. More research is required to determine if William Charles Henry Scott, and Charles Hector Scott were the same person - they appear to have the same birth year and parents.
