Biography

James Brown was born in Scotland about 2 Nov 1840. He was the son of James Brown and Agnes Crinzian.[1][2]

James married Janet Ferguson on 15 July 1869 at Goosehill, Sanquhar, Dumfriesshire.[3][4]

The Browns immigrated from Scotland to the USA about 1870.[2]

1880 Now living in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA, James worked as a laborer to support his family:
