He married Mary Davis/Davies in Lincoln County in 1806. The marriage bond was dated September 1806 and was the bondsman were William Moore and Isaac Davis.[1]
He died in 1858 and is buried at Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery.[2]

Note, although William and Mary were married in Lincoln County, NC, they actually resided in York County very near the SC/NC border.
