Biography

Coleman Brown was born on April 22, 1818, in Morgan County, Kentucky. He was the son of James Brown and Anna Cloe. He married Joanna Louise Gregory on December 8, 1848, in Bath County, Kentucky. They were farmers and had 11 children during their marriage. He died on November 8, 1901, in Morgan County, Kentucky, having lived a long life of 83 years, and was buried there.
