Roscoe Brubaker was born in Hanover in 1925. He was the son of Eli Brubaker and Elsie Kobe. He moved to Detroit with his parents in 1926. They returned to Canada in the 1930s.
He was a mould finisher with Dominion Tire, Kitchener when he enlisted in the Canadian Army at London, Ontario on January 4, 1944. Next of Kin Mrs. Elsie Brubaker, mother, Hanover, Ontario.[1]
Private Roscoe Brubaker Service Number: A/109212 served with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, R.C.I.C. He died liberating The Netherlands on 8 March 1945 age 19.
