Thomas was the son of Thomas Brydges (Brugge) and Alice Hackluyt.
He came into the Henborough estate of Ketford in the parish of Dymock, Gloucestershire on his marriage to Maud Henborough, daughter of Thomas. [1]
According to the Visitation of Gloucester, Maud and Thomas had at least five children [2]:
In 1457 Thomas and Maud were named as a deforciants in land settlement involving property in Winchcombe, Gretton, Swindon, Greet, Stallion Hill (in Newent), Ketford (in Dymock), Hampnett, Dowdeswell, Quedgeley, and Clifton (in Severn Stoke). [3]
According to information in the will of his son John Bridges, Thomas was buried by the high altar in the church at Dymock. [4]
