No baptism found for him, the family were established in Champlain. He is given the age of 87 on his funeral.
Jean Baptiste Beaufort dit Brunelle, son of the late Pierre Beaufort dit Brunelle and of Marguerite St-Agnan, married Louise Quély (Quessy), daughter of Nicolas and of Élisabeth Bourque, on 6 May 1805 in Batiscan.[1]
12 known children to the couple, all born and baptized in Batiscan, 10 of whom are known to marry.[2]
Jean Baptiste Brunel died on 2 April 1862 and was buried on the 4th in Batiscan, the record giving him 87 years of age.[3]
