Biography

Sarah "Sallie" Buchanan born 1820 in Washington County, Virginia was the daughter of John Buchanan and Anne Ryburn. She married William D. Page, son of Tucker Page, on 29 July 1858 in Smyth County. In 1832 Smyth County was created from Washington and Wythe Counties. Sarah passed away in 1876 and is buried in the Buchanan Cemetery in Washington County.
