He enlisted in WWI on 6/5/1915. S/N 963 with the 28th Battalion D Company.
He left Fremantle 29/6/1915
On the 4/9/1915 he embarked for Gallipoli.
In August 1916 he was transferred to the 7th Brigade Machine Gun Company.
In April 1917 he was transferred to the 7th Field Ambulance which was attached to the 7th Brigade MGC in France.
In June 1917 attached to the 22nd Machine Gun Company.
He returned to Australia 20/12/1917.
He died age 67. Death records list his parents.
