Biography

Robert Darlington was born on 8 September 1832 in Powerscourt, Demesne, Wicklow, Ireland. He was the son of Francis Buckley and Elizabeth Darlington.^[1]

Robert Darlington departed Plymouth and arrived in Portland, Australia on 5 September 1855.^[2]

In 1856 Robert Darlington Buckley married Mary Hicks in Victoria, Australia. ^[3]

In 1903 Robert Darlington (age about 70) was living in Mildura, Wimmera, Victoria, Australia.^[4]

In 1909 Robert Darlington (age about 76) was living in Kaniva, Wimmera, Victoria, Australia.^[5]

In 1914 Robert Darlington (age about 81) was living in Kaniva, Wannon, Victoria, Australia.^[6]

He died in 1919 in Nhill, Victoria. He was 86 years old. ^[7]
