Biography

Sarah was the daughter of Edward and Rebecca Bugby. She was listed as a passenger, age 4, on the Francis, which left Ipswich, England in April 1634, along with her parents, bound for Roxbury.

In 1667/69, Sarah was excommunicated from her church for "gross lying railing, false accusing, notorious Covetousness and a malicious spirit against her relations and sowing discord amongst them, and she not manifesting any remorse or godly sorrow for ye same."

Her father left her a legacy after his death: a ten-acre Town Lot, in additional to 28.5 acres elsewhere (26 November 1668).
