Note H130Edgar Co., IL court records indicate that Samuel Bullock purchased about 80 acres of land "in consideration of the sum of 0, Feb. 25, 1852 from William & Sarah Howard. This was in Section 22, Elbridge Twp., southwest & northeast of Sugar Creek. Richard L. Buckler, Celia's father, owned an adjoining section in the northwest corner of Section 21, also by Sugar Creek.
