In 1850 Sarah Cummings lived in Spring Garden Ward 3 Precinct 1, Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Her household included her husband Charles Cummings and their children, Edward, Charles, John, Lydia, Sarah, and Mary Cummings. Persons Mary A Cannon (22), Margaret Johnson (16) and Hannah Johnson (24) also lived in the house.[2]
In 1860 Sarah Cummings lived in the 13th ward of Philadelphia City with her husband Charles Cummings and their children, Charles G, Sallie, and Mary Cummings. Two other persons, Margaret Tompkins (12) and Hannah Creadon (30). [3]
