Biography
John was born in 1720, the son of Samuel Bunting and Priscilla (Burgess) Bunting. [1]
He was married in 1745 to Christiana Headly, and they settled in Middletown, Bucks County, PA, where they had a family of eight children:[1]
- Joshua, born 1746, married Mary Brewer
- Samuel, born 1748, married Ann Moon
- Hannah, born about 1750
- John, born 1755, married Lydia Bunting
- Sarah, born about 1756
- Lydia, born about 1757
- Joseph, born 1758, married Phebe Moon
- Asa, born about 1760, married Hannah Ashton
He passed away in 1790. [1]
