Biography

Sarah, age 77, widow of Thomas N. Ennis, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer C. Jewett, in Norwich, Connecticut on 8 June 1913. She had been residing with her daughter for four years and prior to that resided in Hampton. She was born in Rhode Island and was a daughter of Benjamin Burdick and Elizabeth Card. Her husband died about 1891. Sarah was survived by four sons and two daughters: Mrs. Elmer Jewett, Bertrand O. Ennis of Hamden, Gilbert T. Ennis of Westerly, RI, William E. Ennis of Cohasset, Mass., Mrs. Etta Hyde of New Haven and Reginald H. Ennis of Norwich.[1]
