Clarke was born in 1765. He died in 1792.

His will was proved on 30 November 1792 in Hopkinton, Rhode Island.^[1] He mentions his wife Ruhannah, brother Robert, and his three sisters, Hannah, Susannah, and Betty. He appoints his father, Robert Burdick to be the executor of his will. His inventory is taken on 22 November 1792.^[1]
